KickoffHQ is an independent football site. We believe in being transparent about where our data comes from and how our predictions and articles are produced.
Our data
Live scores, fixtures, results and league tables come from established football data providers. The world ranking is Elo-based. Data can occasionally lag the official source by a few minutes.
How our predictions work
Match predictions use a transparent statistical model: a Poisson goals model built from each team's recent results — goals scored and conceded — and adjusted by the teams' ranking strength. It outputs win, draw and loss probabilities and the single most-likely scoreline. It is a model for analysis and entertainment, not betting advice, and no outcome is guaranteed.
News and match reports
We publish original explainers and automated match reports generated from real final results. Aggregated headlines link out to their original publishers; our own articles are written for KickoffHQ.

KickoffHQ is independent and not affiliated with FIFA or any league. We aim for accuracy; if you spot an error, email hello@kickoffhq.online and we will correct it.
